I was blessed to attend a worship service last night. It felt amazing to get out of the house and to connect with other people again. It was so nice to connect with an old friend who rode with me. Sometimes you just need a good long girl talk. It was such a good feeling to see everyone, to have genuine heartfelt face to face conversation, and the hugs, man, these people can hug with the love of the Lord! Glory. To be spending time with the body of Christ, hearing visions and words of wisdom, singing beautiful worship, and hearing the heavenly melody that the Holy Spirit created was as close to feeling heaven on earth as I have felt lately. I am so thankful to the Lord for the wonderful people he has brought into my life.
Exodus 23:25-27(NIV)
25 Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span. 27 “I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.
The worship was amazing as always. There was an exciting charismatic movement of revelation followed by holy laughter. There were 2 visions that were shared that I would like to share with you. A gentleman named Dan that was next to me, shared that as we worshiped, he saw a great roaring fire rising up. There was a dam that appeared to be holding back water. The dam wall was swelling and looked almost pregnant as if it was about to burst. The Lord was about to release the dam and flood the fire. But, why would the Lord want to quench worship? As Dan waited on the Lord, he was able to see that this dam was not holding back water, but was indeed, holding back Oil!
Isaiah 9:5-6 (ESV)
5 For every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult and every garment rolled in blood will be burned as fuel for the fire.
6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
I believe the Lord is about to flood those that worship him in a way that we have never experienced. To unleash revelation, wisdom, love, kindness and grace in a way that truly unites the body of Christ.
It really is as simple as "Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so". It's as simple as reading the Bible and experiencing the way the word will come alive to you, to personally reveal the Love that The Lord has for YOU. Jesus died for you. He rose for you. He's waiting for you.
Ephesians 2:4-7 (ESV)
4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus
As I was in worship, everything that surrounded me faded away. I began to hear birds chirping and I felt the crisp chill of forest air. I could smell the wet moss. I could feel the wind blowing through the trees. I could hear the tiny footprints rustling through the leaves. The Lord revealed to me that I was in the middle of the giant redwood forest. I noticed the trees spaced equally apart in rows that extended for miles. As I turned, reaching out with my right hand, my hand grazed the bark of a beautiful redwood. There was a space hollowed out at the bottom of the huge tree, it was big enough for me to walk into. I could turn around with about three feet all around me in every direction. The Lord put it on my heart that this was quarantine. Packaged beautifully on the outside, as gorgeous as a grand redwood. Safe at home, enough space to be comfortable alone. Enough space for a family to feel crowded. As I looked around, it reminded me of the way it looked when you'd see an old part of a tree in the woods that had been rotted out. Where the top layers of bark have turned to dust. Where you can touch it, feel the dust and feel the bark crumble between your fingers if you try to pick it up.
I reached out to touch the inside of the tree, wanting to feel it for myself, and just as I expected, the bark practically disintegrated in my hands, turning to dust. It was all through the air, falling from above, and covering every area of the inside of that tree. It was all around me. With one little touch, I was instantly surrounded in dust. With every step of my feet, more dust would fall. I started having trouble breathing. I began to cough, and as I did, I stepped to the left and stumbled. As I steadied myself, my left hand hit the inside wall of the tree. More and more dust began to fly. I started having trouble seeing, I couldn't breathe, the bark dust was inside my nose, in my eyes, all thorough my mouth, and in between my teeth. It was all through my hair like sand from a sandbox was dumped on my head. It was suffocating. The Lord revealed to me that this is the news, the conspiracies, the government. The more we watch the news, the more we buy into each article, each shared post, each press briefing, the more dust we are kicking up into our own atmosphere. We may think that one article won't hurt, one press briefing wont hurt, one more vaccine won't hurt, and then you don't realize how much dust you've kicked up into your own face. Until it begins to suffocate your voice and blind your view to the point of desperation.
Leviticus 26:37-38 (ESV)
37 They shall stumble over one another, as if to escape a sword, though none pursues. And you shall have no power to stand before your enemies. 38 And you shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 (ESV)
11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness
I remember being in that cloud of dust and seeing a glimmer of sunshine. The Lord was calling me to this tiny, golden, glimmer of sun, that was barely visible within this giant, brown, dust tornado that surrounded me. As I stumbled toward the sunlight, I found myself coming out of the redwood cave. As soon as the sunlight hit my face, I could breathe again. It felt warm and calm. I felt cleansed from inside out. The wind ceased behind me and I stepped back out into the crisp forest air. As I looked around, I began to see others emerging form their own redwood trees, poking their heads out to feel the sunshine. Feeling the freeing comfort of the Lord's salvation just as simple as the way we feel with our fingertips. Instinctively, as if it's always meant to be this way.
2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 (ESV) Stand Firm
13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 14 To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.
16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
The Lord put it on my heart that He is calling us out of the storm that we have put ourselves into. Whatever you have ran to in comfort, turn away, and run to Him. He is calling us to the fresh air that he breathes into our lungs. He is calling us to feel the sunshine of salvation on our faces, to feel the winds of hope, to taste the fruits of righteousness. You are worthy of His presence, you are worthy of His love. You are a worthy vessel for Him to pour His spirit into. He sealed your cracks with gold, making you more beautiful than before. He Loves you.
Deuteronomy 31:6 (ESV)
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
Ephesians 4:1-7 (ESV) Unity in the Body of Christ
4 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift.
