37. Last night I received the call that I knew in my heart I would get, I just didn’t know how or when. Late yesterday evening I was blessed beyond measure with an opportunity to join my very first mission trip to Honduras!!! I will be gone January 17th-25th as part of a team of 22 amazing individuals. During this time we will be breaking into groups and having meetings at 20 churches as well as doing street outreach and anything else we can do to forward the kingdom of the Lord.
When I was introduced to Set Free Ministries this trip was already planned out with hotel and travel booked. There wasn’t a possibility to just add myself to this trip no matter how much my heart pleaded for me to be there. I could only attend if the Lord made a way for me. Last night that way was made with someone on the team backing out of the trip. I received the call and the first words out of Kevin’s mouth were “No matter what I say, you have to say yes.” I knew with that sentence that a spot had opened up and my spirit jumped into my throat with joy and I probably busted his ear drum screaming!
I am still crying off and on with joy, praise, and awe in what the Lord will do for us. He loves us all so so much and he simply desires a place in your heart and your life as your savior in return for his death on the cross.
The short notice of this means that there was very little time to save up for this opportunity. If you feel led to donate to this mission trip, you can message me and I’ll send you my paypal information. I might be sharing a fundraiser here too but I’m still praying about that. Right now the cost has been covered for the last minute plane ticket and luckily I was able to be on the same flights as everyone else!! However, I would love to pay that person back as much as possible before I go.
The real help I need right now is in finding dresses that go below the knee but can be worn in 80 degree weather. Everyone who knows me knows I haven’t really worn a dress ever. If you are out and see anything let me know! I’ll be shopping at Goodwill and Salvation Army because they usually have different sections no matter what season it is.
My breath is taken away by the Glory of our Lord and Savior!!!
If you would like your house cleaned for the holidays let me know! I think it may be time to move forward in starting my cleaning service up so I can begin to work for myself next year.
As always I am beyond thankful for everyone who reads my posts, sends me encouraging messages and for those who pray for me. I am blessed to have each and every one of you in my life.
Waymaker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in the darkness, My God, That is Who YOU Are!!!
