255. The Jet is Landing

You didn’t miss it! The other day in prayer, it began to feel like I was on an airplane in decent. I could hear the Lord clearly. “The jet is landing.”

There are many people in a waiting and holding season at the feet of the Lord right now. They are crying out for answers on why it’s taking so long. Patience is being tried. Refining fire has felt the hottest it’s ever been.

Many are frustrated, with arms pulled back ready to throw in the towel. The resistance you feel is the last part of your sinful flesh rising to the surface. It’s that deep thing the Lord needs you to deal with before your next breakthrough. Lean in. Pray through. Walk it out.

It’s like taking a 12 hour flight and getting so antsy and anxious to get your seat belt off and arrive at the last half hour.

You are this close.

Whatever season you are resting in, whatever trial you are facing, whatever shaking you’ve endured, it’s coming to an end.

The jet is landing.

It’s time to fast and to pray. Its time to prepare your hearts and souls to align with your Spirit and move with Jesus Christ. To take up your cross and follow Him. Follow the King of Glory every step of the way.

This is the season to go. To go beyond your fleshly comforts, to go beyond your physical limits, to go beyond the worldly realm, and to fight from a spiritual position of victory in Jesus Christ. To advance the kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven.

This is the season to go beyond reading and to begin living this word you love so much. This gospel of Jesus Christ. Our good shepherd whose sheep will know His voice.

This is the season to take Jesus to the nations, to the store, and everywhere else you go. This is the season to listen and obey, to go after those hidden in dark places and show them the light.

If He sends you will you really go? Will you go to your neighbor and help fold her clothes in Jesus name? Will you go down the road and pray for your town? Will you go to church on Sunday or any day at all? Will you get in your car and go where He sends you? Even if it’s to an adult store at 1am? Can you share Him when He sends you? Will you share Him where you go?

The other day we thought we missed it. We drove most of the day and into the night with not much going on. On our way home, late, we passed an adult store and we both got hit by the Lord to stop.

It led to a 20 min conversation about Jesus with the man that worked there and a Holy Spirit encounter that employee will not soon forget.

The people Jesus is after, aren’t coming to your churches or your meetings. This is the season to share Him beyond every comfort of your flesh. This is the season to let the Spirit of the Living God send you and for you to really go.

Listen and obey, but keep in mind that He’ll send you to the prayer closet before He’ll send you to the nations. Start on your face and in the word and see where Jesus takes you.

You may feel like you have missed it, but the jet is landing and it’s almost time to go! It’s in this last stretch of enduring the descent, where we find hope in the victory of landing safely and the excitement and anticipation to experience what lies ahead in Jesus name.

Acts 4:29-31 29 And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, 30 while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

Acts 28:31 - Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Ephesians 3:12 - In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Proverbs 28:1 - The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Hebrews 13:6 - So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Hebrews 4:16 - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Ephesians 6:19-20 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

Mark 16:15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Matthew 9:37-38 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

1 Corinthians 9:22 - To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

1 Peter 3:15 - But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Isaiah 6:8 - Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Acts 1:8 - But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

2 Timothy 4:5 - But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

240. Back together again

You know, it's hard when you're growing and walking things out in this life. We look at the world and we point out what's wrong, or what needs changed but we don't realize that the change within us is the most important change needed of all.  The Lord took me to a hallway today. The rooms were all white. In the first room I saw myself about 5 years old. I had crayons and paint and I was dancing to music, painting and coloring these beautiful pictures on the walls. I was praising the Lord and singing as loud as I could. In the second room I was a teenager. I was sitting at a desk. I had colored pencils lined up distinctly in a row, sorted by color. I was coloring on a piece of white paper making a neat picture of a hillside. On top of the hill sat a small white church with a view of the sunset. I had head phones on, jamming out the inside while my composure was quiet and still. In the third room I was in my 20's. I was seated at a dining table. I had a canvas and p...

254. The Eyes of the Lord

As we enter 2025 the only advice I could possibly have for anyone is to look to Jesus Christ. To center your life on His will, His word and His way. That there is nothing found in this world that can satisfy the needs of your soul like the savior. The call for 2025 is to continue drawing near and pouring out, where ever you may be, in whatever way you’re called, in Jesus mighty name. The healing revival emerging will not be held back. Lean in, pray through, and walk it out. You’re called, it’s time to act like it, as doers of the word. Amen! The other day as we were driving, I approached the Lord in prayer. Prayer for letting go of everything that needs left behind in 2024.  Prayers of thanksgiving and praise. Prayers of repentance and petitions for mercy. Prayers of gratitude for the grace and restoration that ended this year in such a different capacity than it all began. Prayers for guidance, for wisdom and for ears to hear. Prayers to be love and to have eyes to see what...

256. Pray. Fast. Obey.

In prayer this morning I was reminded of the last year and how far I’ve come. How following Jesus Christ, no matter what the outcome, can produce a life you’ve never imagined.  When you stop falling for fear based compromises and truly walk out in faith to what you’re called to do, you’ll experience things beyond your comprehension. You’ll find your true identity when you lose your life in Christ.  I was reminded how messy and treacherous it can appear when the Lord tears through the lives of those called and chosen to Him, to rend you away from the grip of the sin of this lukewarm world; and pulls you in closer than you’ve ever been before. Snatching you from the grave.  A love that pierces every cell of your physical body. A love that transcends time, spirit and matter. An incomprehensible consummation of your entirety.  The jealous love of Jesus Christ our savior, the Lord of our lives. The love made available to each and every one of us through His death and resu...
