147. Deliverance doesn’t keep you free

I am continually blown away by the goodness of the Lord. I am constantly challenged to grow in my obedience, my walk, my relationship, my faith and my pursuit of righteousness. Tonight was another deliverance at my home. It went amazingly well. New friendships were formed and old ones were deepened. We all learn and grow with experience. It takes stepping out, speaking up, humbling yourself and being led by the Holy Spirit to grow in areas of deliverance, healing, prophecy etc. Jesus is amazing!! He continues to blow my mind. Every. Single. Day. Freedom is something that we are all given the ability to obtain. Freely we receive, freely give. However, it’s often that our walk and level of obedience (or lack there of) is what will make or break our continued freedom. I remember being in that position. The feeling of experiencing deliverance for the first time. Feeling lighter, free, having no more anxiety or racing thoughts. I remember how amazing that felt. I also remember those sa...

146. Skipping Rocks

The other night I had a vision of a lake. The water was calm and there were hundreds of people lining the shore. I saw the Lord there standing with His feet in the water up to His ankles. Everyone was standing back a bit just waiting. I was confused as to why they weren’t rushing over to Jesus. Why they weren’t engaging with Him. Why they were just watching. I was wondering what they were waiting for. I began to walk over to the Lord. I approached Him eagerly with a level of peace that hid my inner excitement. I wasn’t sure what to say so I simply stood there next to Him.  He smiled at me and I felt in my spirit the word “ready?” The next thing I remember it was like I was tossed a thousand miles an hour across the lake. I was skipping like a rock. It was scary, amazing, exciting and confusing all at the same time. I came down and hit the top of the water a few times as if it was a solid sheet of glass. It stung but immediately I was on my way again. This happened about three...

145. It’s Time to Be Intentional

I heard the lord speak tonight. “It’s time to be intentional.” Intentional is defined as done on purpose or deliberately. Deliberate is defined as done consciously or to engage in long and careful consideration. Conscious is defined as aware of and responding to one's surroundings. Purpose is defined as the reason for which something is done or the reason it’s created or the reason for which something exists.  The Lord put on my heart that the purpose is the Gospel, it’s the great commission.  Matthew 28:16-20 The Great Commission 16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. An...

144. One Hour

My heart is heavy tonight. We took communion at church and Pastor Harry spoke a really good message regarding the significance of Thursday night. We all know Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but Thursday, how often do we really think about it? As we were praying it hit me hard. “Could you not watch with me one hour?”  These disciples spent time with the Lord. They saw the miracles, signs, wonders, healing left and right, the provision. They. Saw. So. Much. Yet they scattered that Thursday night.  Jesus was praying, can you imagine that feeling of knowing the pain you would endure and laying down your life. “Could you not watch with me one hour?”  Imagine that feeling, feeling that your friends have your back. They say they will follow you, and they couldn’t pray with you and watch for one hour. An hour where you’re praying hard, asking for this cup to pass. Yet His friends, disciples, the closest to Him, couldn’t pray with Him or on His behalf for one hour.  Now think ...
