85. Truth Shall Be Revealed

Our world today has been dominated by fear. The Lord is calling those He holds close to rise up. We are called to fear not. A few days ago I was laying in bed. The kids had gone to sleep and I was almost there myself. As I tried to calm my mind and drift to sleep, I was met with a vision of the face of Jesus. His eyes were this beautiful deep fire that burned with love and an intensity that gave me that naked in a classroom full of people feeling. This feeling of seeing through absolutely everything I’ve ever done, felt, experienced or thought. There was this transparency that in any other situation would make people feel uncomfortable, but in that instance I simply felt more “at home” than ever before.  His face began to fade, but the eyes of fire remained so bright. As my gaze was focused on those eyes, a new face appeared. It was the face of a Lion. The colors were so intense. The burning golden white fire of his eyes that had an undeniable purity and love as its source. There was this bright copper with a golden tinge, the mane was filled bright with colors that varied from copper and burn orange to a deep, deep purple color that I had never seen in the natural world. It reminded me of the purple you see draped over the cross this time of year but deeper and more intense. The Lion of the tribe of Judah. The splendor of His majesty revealed.

Psalm 96:6 (ESV)
6 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Psalm 96:9 (ESV)
9 Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth!

The Lord put it on my heart that He is territorial. When He says “you are mine” He means it. It may seem like things are spiraling out of control, but this chaos is a controlled chaos. This is our wake up call. He is calling for his people to repent and to be proud of His name. To turn from the sinful ways of this world and to join His pride. The enemy has been gaining ground on this Earth and it’s ground the Lord will inevitably inherit for all eternity. The battle is already won.

Isaiah 43:1-3 (ESV)
1 But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior

Let’s say someone told you that you were going to be part of a war and that you have to fight no matter what. Then they tell you that the results of this war, the results of this ongoing battle were already determined. They reveal to you the winning side of the battle. Then they ask you, “Which side will you fight for?” Which side would you choose? Would you go into this war fighting for the losing side? I highly doubt it. Yet, many do this every day by denying Jesus, holding close to selfish desires, holding on to false beliefs, embracing false religions, reveling in idolization and sin. It’s all exactly the same as picking up your weapon and fighting for the losing side of the war. The Bible tells us who wins. Revelation shows us exactly what is to unfold. Still, so many turn away. I can assure you, you’re fighting for the wrong side unless you’re fighting with the Lord.

2 Colossians:8-10
8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.
9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, 10 and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.

Colossians 2:13-15
13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.

The truth shall be revealed!

Last night as I was sitting on the couch, I saw a vision of the world. It was covered in a cloth. Suddenly, in one swift, bold but graceful movement the hand of the Lord grabbed the cloth and pulled it away from the earth. It reminded me of the way a magician would conceal those fake flowers in their hand and cover it with a dark cloth. Then they swiftly remove the cloth from their hand and the flowers pop up. It was similar. What popped up or was revealed to me under that cloth is hard to describe. I saw soldiers in uniform evenly distributed across each continent. No matter what country they were in, the uniform was the same. They were heartless, yet most people trusted them. Then the Lord revealed to me their hands. The tops of their hands were normal. The palms of their hands were not. They had two serpent fangs coming out of them. It reminded me of the videos where you see folks milking rattle snakes for venom. These sharp snake fangs were hidden during every day activities. The venom was concealed by the normal appearance these soldiers/officers projected. Then the people of the earth began to reach out to them in need. Wether it was for food, shelter, money, I’m unsure. As the people reached out in need, they would hold out their hands to these soldiers who were supposed to be protecting them, only to be shocked by the strength of their grip, the sting of the bite and the condemnation to death by the fatal poison they had no idea was even there.

The Lord put it on my heart to share that the people in these end times will be much like those who see a magic show. Some will say that it’s all fake but not be able to explain why, like the adults at the show. The naive will believe that the magician really did conjure up flowers from nothing, like the children watching the show. Very few will truly know the secret movements, the fasad. Few will truly understand what is actually going on behind the deception at hand.

I implore you to be vigilant. I ask you to research, to read the Bible, to try to understand prophecy, to use discernment. These next few months are going to become extremely chaotic and very few will even bat an eye at what is happening.

I don’t try to act like I’m some super prophet, someone with all the answers. I truly am just sharing what I’m seeing, hearing and experiencing because it’s too much to keep to myself. There is a reason you are reading this. The Lord is trying to reach you. Take heed.

James 1:22 - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-12
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:6-8
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

244. Out of the Wilderness

The Lord is calling you. He's calling you deeper. He's calling you higher. He's calling you to become more of His and less of what this world calls "Christian" and gets away with. He's calling you, to gather all the broken pieces of the past and He is leading you, to help you put them back together again.  This morning during worship the Lord led me to an open field. There was a half broken down stage like the aftermath of a weekend music festival. I was walking the disheveled grounds kicking through trash and broken down campsites. So much mess left behind without a care or thought in the world. Our pasts can feel the same. So much junk, so much carnage, so much chaos left behind.  I grabbed a large trash bag and began cleaning. As I continued to gather things up, the ground was transforming. The season was shifting. The air felt lighter, the leaves in the surrounding trees began to change and a fresh autumn breeze began to blow through the field. As the la...

258. Is Jesus Enough?

Is Jesus enough for you? What if we never arrive? What if like Moses you wander in the desert for years only to have the Joshua generation be the one to enter the promised land? The land that was originally promised to Abraham 42 generations prior. 42 generations it took to fulfill that promise.  What if you’re generation 37, or 16, or 5 or 41. What if your family is this close to the breakthrough of the promised land that you’ve been praying for, and you give up now? What if you take the bait of the enemy and quit before you reach the finish line? Or worse yet, you give up, erase the efforts of every generation before you, and your kids or grandkids never meet Jesus at all.  This is your reminder…don’t fall for it. Same evil tactics different worldly package. All designed to kill, steal and destroy.  Satan doesn’t have to take your life if he can take your peace, wrap you in groundhog’s days, and have you spread that woe is me, lack of joy under a “Christian” label, like...

250. Stay North Ash

Testimony time! Change is hard for some people, especially during the holidays. While many others handle change with ease, I tend to handle it like a cat thrown in a bathtub. Settling in here hasn’t been much different. So much change.  In many areas it’s been a blessing and the perfect fit, but I’d be lying if I said being this far away from Leah wasn’t the hardest thing I’ve ever done. While she’s amazingly independent, I always thought she’d be away at college before I couldn’t just stop by if she ever needed me for anything.   This has led to me questioning the Lord on a lot of things, and led to me wondering if us moving to Morgantown would be a good fit for the next season the Lord has coming up over the horizon.   How many of you have experienced something similar? You pray, the Lord answers, you obey, then you’re in it. You’re smack dab in the middle of what you prayed for and it ends up challenging you to grow in ways you never thought possible.  You ...
