76. Lyndora Worship Night 02.29.20

Worship night was a true blessing. I was immediately struck with this at home feeling upon walking in and seeing everyone. There were about 50 of us there, some I knew and some I hadn’t met yet. It’s amazing how much easier it’s getting for me to walk up to people and talk. I’m still super uncomfortable and awkward with small talk but it’s getting much better. Especially for me being so weird around strangers and crowds. The Lord has really thrown me out of the nest that was my comfort zone these past months. I can fly, I just need a swift kick in the pants from the Lord, that tosses me from my branch, out into the will of the Lord through the Holy Spirit.
John 14:26 (NLT)
26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
Proverbs 11:14 (NLT)
14 Without wise leadership, a nation falls; there is safety in having many advisers.
James 1:22 - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
The worship music was amazing. It’s not every day you spend hours listening to two acoustic guitars, a drum, a violin and a cello along with 50 plus people worshiping in their own unique way. I love to see people dancing, singing, kneeling, crying, laying, praying in tongues and singing in prayer language; all while expressing their gratitude and love for the Lord through worship. I also became very excited as this was the first time I’d get to experience sharing the same vision as someone else and receiving that conformation. It helped to solidify the fact that what I see and hear is the truth and the light. I’m not as crazy as I may seem to most of you.
Numbers 12:6 (NLT)
6 And the Lord said to them, “Now listen to what I say: “If there were prophets among you, I, the Lord, would reveal myself in visions. I would speak to them in dreams.
Amos 3:7 New (NLT)
7 Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.
As we were worshiping and singing, I began to hear not only our voices, but a multitude of other heavenly voices singing along with us. At that time, I hadn’t had the gift to see anything in the spirit, but, every heavenly voice I was hearing blended beautifully together. It took my breath away. My amazing friend Rose was standing next to me and she leaned over to me and said “I feel led to ask you what you’re hearing?” Her question took me back because I was under the impression that I was the only one who could hear what I was hearing. I told her “Angels, I think, maybe? I’m still trying to figure it out” I know she could see the confusion written all over my face. As worship continued I had gotten down on my knees with my face to the floor praising the Lord. I kept hearing all of these heavenly voices, as if we were surrounded by an infinite volume. The question Rose had asked me kept playing over and over in my mind. What are you hearing? As I was on the floor with these words running through my mind, I was hit with an overwhelming vision. I saw the microphone and the talented musicians, I saw everyone who was there worshiping. We went from being in a physical building to worshiping in the heavens. Everywhere I looked it was white, pure and beautiful. We each remained exactly as we had been, but our entire surrounding had changed. As I turned my gaze, I was shown thousands upon thousands of angels surrounding us. They were with us, worshiping, singing, blessing, praying, protecting, completely surrounding us. There were layers, after layers, after layers of angels. It went on as far as I could see, it was infinite. It was amazing.
Psalm 91:4 (NLT)
4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
Psalm 34:7 (NLT)
7 For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.
Hebrews 1:14 (NIV)
14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
As the night went on, I had gone over to Rose and said to her, “I finally figured out what I was hearing!” As I began to share with her what I saw, her face lit up and she replied “I saw the same thing, the building was surrounded by angels and the Holy Spirit prompted me to ask you what you had heard as I saw them”. I was so excited to have that confirmation. Not that I need someone else to confirm I’m not crazy, but it really helped me to understand the way that the Holy Spirit will work through others in a space where He is allowed to have free reign. There was such a deep connection found in this worship. It’s one of my favorite parts about being a Christian. Spending time with the Lord, sharing your praise and worship, experiencing the prophetic gifts, seeing deliverance taking place, it’s all amazing and I am so blessed to be involved with these wonderful people. I’m so thankful.
Proverbs 27:17 (NIV)
17 As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
1 John 1:3 New (NIV)
3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
Matthew 18:20 (NIV)
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
As I was on my way home, I encountered another vision. Once again I was in a field. It looked almost like a valley. I was standing among the beautiful green grass. It was the kind where the blades are stiff and vibrantly colored but they also flow with the strong wind as it blows. All through the grass there were weeds. They reminded me of dandelions, but the color was a dark ash gray. It was almost like they were made with a sludge type substance. I looked out across the field and I saw the dark demonic figures. I’ve seen them before, they always have the same sinister way about them. The do everything they can to slide under the radar and manipulate undetected. I began to walk toward them, with a fearless heart. As I continued waking, it was as if my steps weren’t directed by me or my body at all. They were directed by the Holy Spirit. I couldn’t step on the grass. My feet couldn’t do it. However, with each step I took, the sole of my foot crushed one of those tar like dandelions. Each one would disintegrate to ash under my feet. As my foot lifted to take my next step, the crushed ashes would simply blow away with the wind. Only the vibrant green grass remained. As I was walking toward them, they began walking toward me. Their feet were directed to trample the grass. They would do their best to stomp down as many blades of grass as possible with each step. As they lifted their feet to move on to the next attack, the pressed blades of grass would spring back up with a color even brighter than before. This angered the demons and they tried harder and harder to stomp down the grass. They became more and more defeated and angry as the grass sprang back up, reaching to the heavens. The closer I got to them, the more intense and directed my steps became. Suddenly, I was urged to turn around and in that turn, I noticed that all of the demonic dandelions were gone. Every single one of them was crushed under the feet of the Holy Spirit. As I turned to rebuke the demons, they had vanished. I continued to gaze over the field, the sun was shining, and the grass looked even more beautiful than before. I looked out over the vast field and the Lord put on my heart an urge to speak to everyone about the enemy. We need to realize how easy it is to overcome the attacks of the enemy when you’re equipped with Jesus. I believe that we are the blades of grass. The enemy can try to keep us pressed down, the enemy can attack us at any time, but even the most intense attack from the enemy will not withstand the presence of the Lord and the Holy Spirit. You will rise again, you will be more beautiful than before. You will conquer the enemy. The enemy can sow seeds of destruction all day long, but in the end, the Holy Spirit will conquer any and every attack in the name of Jesus.
Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, the enemy has already been defeated. So many Christians look at the devil with a sense of fear, speaking of the constant spiritual warfare that we are in. Many are praying from a place of fear and worry, when instead, we should come to the throne with a comfort and peace of mind. Knowing with faith that the devil has already been defeated. I can assure you, the spiritual warfare we are in will continue to be present. We simply need to understand that the name of Jesus will always win the war.
Romans 16:20 (NLT)
20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
Psalm 138:7 (NLT)
7 Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me.
The enemy is running rampant in today’s world. Don’t turn a blind eye. This world is like the parable of Matthew 13:24-30 I’ll past some of it below. The take away is that good and evil will co exist on this earth and in this lifetime. They grow together in the same soil, the same weather, the same internet connection, the same place of work, the same grocery store, the same family; good and evil everywhere. There will soon come a time when the Lord separate the good from the evil. Remain pure in your heart, your mind and your spirit.
2 Corinthians 4:4 (NLT)
4 Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
Revelation 12:9 (NLT)
9 This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.
Matthew 13:27-30
27 “The farmer’s workers went to him and said, ‘Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’
28 “‘An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed. “‘Should we pull out the weeds?’ they asked. 29 “‘No,’ he replied, ‘you’ll uproot the wheat if you do. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.’”
Titus 2:12-13 (NLT)
12 And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, 13 while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.
Psalms 51:10 - Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Matthew 5:8 (NLT)
8 God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.

258. Is Jesus Enough?

Is Jesus enough for you? What if we never arrive? What if like Moses you wander in the desert for years only to have the Joshua generation be the one to enter the promised land? The land that was originally promised to Abraham 42 generations prior. 42 generations it took to fulfill that promise.  What if you’re generation 37, or 16, or 5 or 41. What if your family is this close to the breakthrough of the promised land that you’ve been praying for, and you give up now? What if you take the bait of the enemy and quit before you reach the finish line? Or worse yet, you give up, erase the efforts of every generation before you, and your kids or grandkids never meet Jesus at all.  This is your reminder…don’t fall for it. Same evil tactics different worldly package. All designed to kill, steal and destroy.  Satan doesn’t have to take your life if he can take your peace, wrap you in groundhog’s days, and have you spread that woe is me, lack of joy under a “Christian” label, like...

244. Out of the Wilderness

The Lord is calling you. He's calling you deeper. He's calling you higher. He's calling you to become more of His and less of what this world calls "Christian" and gets away with. He's calling you, to gather all the broken pieces of the past and He is leading you, to help you put them back together again.  This morning during worship the Lord led me to an open field. There was a half broken down stage like the aftermath of a weekend music festival. I was walking the disheveled grounds kicking through trash and broken down campsites. So much mess left behind without a care or thought in the world. Our pasts can feel the same. So much junk, so much carnage, so much chaos left behind.  I grabbed a large trash bag and began cleaning. As I continued to gather things up, the ground was transforming. The season was shifting. The air felt lighter, the leaves in the surrounding trees began to change and a fresh autumn breeze began to blow through the field. As the la...

250. Stay North Ash

Testimony time! Change is hard for some people, especially during the holidays. While many others handle change with ease, I tend to handle it like a cat thrown in a bathtub. Settling in here hasn’t been much different. So much change.  In many areas it’s been a blessing and the perfect fit, but I’d be lying if I said being this far away from Leah wasn’t the hardest thing I’ve ever done. While she’s amazingly independent, I always thought she’d be away at college before I couldn’t just stop by if she ever needed me for anything.   This has led to me questioning the Lord on a lot of things, and led to me wondering if us moving to Morgantown would be a good fit for the next season the Lord has coming up over the horizon.   How many of you have experienced something similar? You pray, the Lord answers, you obey, then you’re in it. You’re smack dab in the middle of what you prayed for and it ends up challenging you to grow in ways you never thought possible.  You ...
