39. Sharing My Notes 12.15.19

Really enjoying my study time tonight and I wanted to share some of my notes like I always do. A lot of people think that I’m crazy or that things like this aren’t possible in today’s time. I will wholeheartedly disagree and say in response that we can’t pick and choose what we believe out of scripture. If one word reigns true so do all the others. Healing is in scripture. Discipleship is in scripture. Jesus didn’t die on the cross for you to simply read the Bible, sing a few hymns out of your hymnal, and call it a week. He died on the cross so that every single person on earth could have a deep, meaningful, disciple like relationship with him and so we could share our experiences partnered with the Word to help bring others into this type of relationship also.
Luke 10:8-9 King James Version (KJV)
8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Luke 10:23-24 King James Version (KJV)
23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:
24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
Jesus didn’t call 12 disciples and say that’s it I’m done, 12 is good, we got this. He very clearly in Matthew said go and MAKE disciples of ALL nations. We are called to be disciples, to share the gospel and to raise up other disciples in Christ.
Matthew 28:19-20 King James Version (KJV)
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
In Luke it says that he sent 70 more out as well. What was so special about those 70 or those 12 that would set them apart from you or I? What would make them able to do this but us not? Only the enemy’s mustard seed of doubt, that’s what. You can hear from the Lord in the same way, you just have to want to listen and stop doubting in yourself.
Luke 10:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
10 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
It also really surprises me when everyone is so shocked that this world is becoming more and more overrun with evil and the works of the enemy. How is this a surprise to you when it’s in the Bible that these things will come to pass? It’s in the Bible in 2 Timothy 3 (read that it’s too long to post) that these things will happen.
If you take that same scripture from Luke that you just read above and add the next line of scripture what happens?
Luke 10:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
Again we are warned that we will be Lambs among wolves. Yet so many are wondering why the darkness of the world keeps spreading. Because that is what we were warned would happen. It’s all part of the divine plan.
I feel that part of my calling is to help fan the flame that has been diminished within Christians. We all need to have our fire back. Some say that it’s easy for me to be this on fire for the Lord because it’s a new fire within, a new freedom felt. Many expect my fire to be quenched with the trials and tribulations of the world. I can say that there isn’t a day that goes by where I am not challenged in some way. However, every attack from the enemy brings a deeper faith in Jesus as my savior and redeemer.
Psalm 49:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
If you are struggling, I’m here for you. If you need prayer, message me and I will be happy to meet with you and pray with you and for you. Sometimes it takes a new perspective or a fresh view point to help in certain situations.
Sometimes when we have been in Christianity for so long, our trials and tribulations put us in this mindset of public praise with secret misery. We become surface level Christians who want to act like things are fine when they really aren’t. I’m here to tell you that it’s OK to NOT ALWAYS BE OK, even as Christians. That’s why we all NEED Jesus. That’s why the Holy Spirit helps us to raise up and encourage other members of the body.
The way the enemy attacks can be so subtle at first that we don’t even know it’s an attack. I like to consider it as if the enemy is driving around in an ice cream truck. His minions are handing out cones of doubt, depression, anxiety, misery, control, jealousy, greed, pain, illness, shame etc. Those evil little demonic minions aren’t just handing these cones out to people that come running to the truck to buy into it. They’re looking for homes with slightly open windows or cracked doors and they are tossing those cones right into any area we will leave open for them. They only need a crack.
Now at first, you won’t notice any change. It’s just a cone tossed through a crack that maybe landed behind your couch or behind the curtains. You wouldn’t notice it. Then after a few days there will begin to be a slight odor that develops. As the days go on, the odor continues to get worse but at a rate that the person living inside with the cone wouldn’t notice. It’s a gradual rot, a gradual spread of the nastiness that will slowly engulf the entire house.
However, to the person living in the home with the evil, they barely notice it. They may notice it every once in a while, get a whiff of anger in a certain situation when triggered, get a whiff of depression, guilt, or whatever it may be, but they can’t seem to find the root cause. It’s unpleasant but since the change was so gradual it mostly goes without notice. This is where the fresh perspective can come into play. Someone who has never been in that house could walk in and immediately notice an unpleasantness, they could possibly even tell you which room it’s in, or even if you let them they could help you find the source of the unpleasantness you have been experiencing. They can even help you clean it up.
This, I believe, is how new fire is designed to help the other members of the body. It’s a fresh perspective designed to get your wheels turning again. To help reignite the flame.

258. Is Jesus Enough?

Is Jesus enough for you? What if we never arrive? What if like Moses you wander in the desert for years only to have the Joshua generation be the one to enter the promised land? The land that was originally promised to Abraham 42 generations prior. 42 generations it took to fulfill that promise.  What if you’re generation 37, or 16, or 5 or 41. What if your family is this close to the breakthrough of the promised land that you’ve been praying for, and you give up now? What if you take the bait of the enemy and quit before you reach the finish line? Or worse yet, you give up, erase the efforts of every generation before you, and your kids or grandkids never meet Jesus at all.  This is your reminder…don’t fall for it. Same evil tactics different worldly package. All designed to kill, steal and destroy.  Satan doesn’t have to take your life if he can take your peace, wrap you in groundhog’s days, and have you spread that woe is me, lack of joy under a “Christian” label, like...

254. The Eyes of the Lord

As we enter 2025 the only advice I could possibly have for anyone is to look to Jesus Christ. To center your life on His will, His word and His way. That there is nothing found in this world that can satisfy the needs of your soul like the savior. The call for 2025 is to continue drawing near and pouring out, where ever you may be, in whatever way you’re called, in Jesus mighty name. The healing revival emerging will not be held back. Lean in, pray through, and walk it out. You’re called, it’s time to act like it, as doers of the word. Amen! The other day as we were driving, I approached the Lord in prayer. Prayer for letting go of everything that needs left behind in 2024.  Prayers of thanksgiving and praise. Prayers of repentance and petitions for mercy. Prayers of gratitude for the grace and restoration that ended this year in such a different capacity than it all began. Prayers for guidance, for wisdom and for ears to hear. Prayers to be love and to have eyes to see what...

257. Freedom

Testimony time!! Did you ever come to the realization that certain things you may consider as part of your personality actually aren’t? Did it ever occur to you that there are things we have struggled with since childhood, and identified with, that could truly be overcome by the power and presence of Jesus Christ?! Do we really fathom and obtain what we have access to as sons and daughters of the most high God?!  Last night the Lord set me free from something I thought I’d never “grow out of”.  Fear of entrapment. This feeling of being trapped in tight spaces, or feeling confined when hugged or overly touched has been a struggle for as long as I can remember. I have always hated being confined or tightly held for long periods of time. It would bring up this panic in me that was hard to describe. It would start as an unsettling in my stomach and a feeling that I needed to walk or move. Then it would progress to the point where it honestly felt like my stomach was going t...
