32. I always receive messages in the strangest ways, it’s always when it’s quiet and I’m alone in my thoughts. Usually it happens with Spirit filled music in the background or when I’m driving, in the shower, reading the Bible or in prayer. I’ll get bits and pieces here and there all the time and somehow I’ll have to find a way to put them all together. A lot of the time it’s messages that I don’t want to be the one to share. Like this one.
Messages that will push buttons or challenge thinking in a way that many could be annoyed by and many probably won’t like me for. Then the Lord quite frankly said to me “Like you have that many friends anyway, Ash. I need someone to push buttons right now.” Touché Lord, touché. You don’t really need to keep pouring salt in that wound I get it. I’ve heard that one before. Let’s push some more buttons. It’s me and you now, that’s all I need.

It was put on my heart to share that so many women and men of the Lord are oppressed in their lifetimes. Wether it’s growing up in broken homes, dealing with bullying, depression, battling negative thoughts, negative emotions, sometimes it’s having people who you thought were your friends throwing you under the bus or abandoning you with no explanation. It’s having addictions and anger issues. It’s dealing with thoughts of worthlessness or thoughts that you just don’t belong no matter where you are. It’s recurring bouts of doubt and depression even though you have this cookie cutter life everyone always dreams of and thoughts of feeling guilty for not being as happy as you should be.
Psalms 9:9 - The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
The enemy will come hardest against those who have the greatest purpose for the Lord. Period.
Anything not of love and of sound mind is from the enemy. The enemy will use everything and everyone around you to hold you back if you or they are weak enough to be his pawns. The devil can attack with negative thoughts and emotional responses in yourself and in the people around you. Yes, even in other Christians. I had a Christian Holy Spirit filled boyfriend scream at me that this was all crap and to stop writing all the time. That happened the same night that I posted the one with my visions of the Lord and Hell. The enemy didn’t want that message out there in Facebook land and he used a person in my own home against me to try and stop me from posting it. Then of course Erik said to me “I don’t remember any of that, I’d never say that to you, I love reading your writing! I don’t know what came over me, I’m sorry!” The enemy can manipulate a lot more than we like to think.
The minute we begin to make progress for the kingdom of the Lord, the enemy will attack. He’s not always going to show up breathing down your neck, it’s not always even going to be obvious that you’re being attacked. It’s going to start with a subtle manipulation of your thinking.
The Lord has given us the scripture regarding the mustard seed of faith and how it can move mountains.

The first attack of the devil is just the opposite. It’s a mustard seed of doubt. That’s all it takes to keep you from making progress. A mustard seed of doubt.
Doubt, when considered, leads to disbelief. Disbelief then leads to disobedience. I’d like to add that a lifetime of disbelief and disobedience basically means you’re screwed. Even if you’re in church every Sunday. You better snap out of it. Derek Prince said it best himself, I recommend looking his teachings up. Normally his monotone voice would be one I’d nod off to on YouTube, but he’s scripturally sound in his teachings and they really excite me.
Though the kingdom of the Lord God Almighty will always win against the devil, the winning signifies that there will be a battle fought in order for a winner to be named. The battle of good vs evil in this world is more paramount now than ever. What side are you on?
John 16:33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Exodus 14:14 - The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
We are all familiar with the scripture that says the Lord formed us in our mothers womb. That means the Lord knows every day of your life before it plays out. He knows everything you’ve gone through and everything you will go through in your lifetime. Although it may be difficult for us to believe, even the most negative circumstances and experiences can work out for our benefit in the long run. It just takes a while to see it sometimes. That can be frustrating to a lot of people. That is where so many lose hope and faith, in the waiting.
Psalms 130:5 - I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
Then it was put on my heart to share that there’s no one here on earth worth going to hell for. There just isn’t.
If you’re holding back your faith because someone will make fun of you or you’ll lose friends or you’ll be asked to leave a certain group, because you’ll be asked to leave your church, or your family will disown you, do you think those people are worth an eternity of pain and anguish for? Are they worth burning in hell for? Chances are the answer is no. They aren’t going to be right beside you burning for all eternity making jokes about the pain with you and finding a way to laugh through it. You’ll be entirely on your own for eternity in excruciating pain. Are they worth it when the Lord is pulling at your heart and calling you home?
Revelation 21:8

We want to think that only evil sinners will be cast to an eternity of darkness but the first offense called out here is the cowardly. Maybe it’s time for all of us to exercise our faith in a more public way.
In the end it’s just YOU and the LORD.
You may think that your tribe will be with you forever, but are they only with you to benefit themselves? Are they really there for you or are they friends with you because you buy rounds of drinks, give them funny stories to tell or because they laugh at you when you think they’re laughing with you?
Jeremiah 17:5 - Thus saith the LORD; Cursed [be] the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
If you took a look at your phone today and scrolled through the contacts, how many of those people could you call and they would answer in the middle of the night? How many would actually come to your side if you needed them?
There were so many times when I thought that I had finally found a group of people that I fit in with, only to be mistaken after time passes. Found certain friendships or connections that I thought would last forever and feeling rejected when I realized that wasn’t the case. The Lord put it on my heart to share that he removes people from your life for a reason. He sees what happens behind your back and His reasons are always much better than we could ever imagine.

Don’t shy away from what your heart is telling you regarding your relationship with the Lord God Almighty and Jesus Christ our Savior. Have the faith of a child. Have the faith of a mustard seed that YOU were put here in exactly the spot that you’re in today. Have faith that YOU are reading these words for a reason. Have faith that your future can be brighter than you could ever imagine.
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 - But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Take the steps to make the changes that you need to better yourself and let friendships that aren’t real fall by the wayside. New and greater friendships will be formed. It’s perfectly fine to outgrow certain situations or groups of people. It’s even ok if you have to do it alone because the Lord God is always with you.
Mark 5:36 - As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
So many are quick to point the false profit finger at everything they feel doesn’t sit right with their biblical teachings. Saying those preaching Jesus could be fake. Many are bringing up scripture saying in the end many will be deceived. I do believe that there will be a false profit that will rise as in scripture but what if part of what the Bible refers to as a false profit and false Holy Spirit energy is actually everything that is going on in the world today?
Matthew 7:15 - Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
What if the wolves are Spiritualism, or Long Island medium, what if they’re the new age movement, what if they’re ghost hunting shows, what if they’re flocks of people meditating to Hindu gods unknowingly through Yoga and experiencing amazing energy? What if they’re the energy that reiki healers are harnessing?
Now consider this, if all of those people are harnessing this false spirit energy and having these “amazing spiritual experiences”, how much more amazing could their experiences be with the right energy through Jesus Christ our Savior and the actual Holy Spirit? If the enemy will let you harness his energy and use it to help others, it’s because you are coveted by the Lord God Almighty and you could be so much more valuable to His Kingdom if you’d just open your eyes.
If the enemy is willing to battle hard enough to manipulate your thinking and replace your relationship with the Lord with one of a universal energy, wouldn’t that be the greatest deception of all?
Galatians 6:3 - For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
Some of my friends have said to me that if this is the case and they pass on that they believe that they will still get a chance to stand in front of the Lord at the gates and explain things to Peter. They’ll get a chance to say that they didn’t know and that they were wrong. They think that they will get a chance to repent at the gate and if they are truly repented in their hearts and that they accept Jesus at that time that they will still be saved. As if you can be purposefully sinful then get up to heaven and say oh, lord I thought it was Hindu, or Buddha, or Scientology, I’m sorry please forgive me and He will be like ok sure come on in. I’m not one to say on behalf of the Lord that this is or is not the case. I have zero clue as to how that will all play out. My warning to you is simply what if that’s not the case? What if it’s an immediate disqualification and the trap door opens and you fall and fall fast?
